Revered Orange County independent record label No Sleep Records has announced today, they’ve signed Bristol, UK’s rising alternative rock band MIDDLE DISTANCE. The band will release their new album, Blueshift, later this year.

“We never been happier to announce that we have been signed to No Sleep Records. It is an honour to be part of the new generation of artists on their eclectic roster, we grew up with and were heavily influenced by many of the bands that have been associated with them over the years. We are proud to share the same core ethos and desires, to create and promote a unique underground sound. We cannot thank Chris Hansen enough for respecting our vision and giving us the time and support in making the record we have always wanted to make.” - MIDDLE DISTANCE

To celebrate the union, the band has debuted a brand new single today, called “Hiatus,” which will be featured on their upcoming album, Blueshift, and is streaming now at the link below.

Commenting on the new song the band states, “In an ever confusing and unpredictable modern landscape, Hiatus scratches the surface on breaking the cycle of the monotony of day-to-day life.”
